A: The minimum age to rent from Silver Rental is 21.
Additional charges/fees may apply to all renters/drivers under 25.
A: Silver Rental accepts major credit cards from traditional banking institution only. The credit card must be in the renter’s name. (All cards must have a working chip)
Debit/ATM cards MAY be accepted at our discretion (please call for details).
Pre-paid cards, Apple Cards, and Chime Cards are not accepted.
All cards must have a working chip.
Credit Card Authorization Requirements:
For all cars, a minimum deposit of $350.00 in addition to the total rental bill must be available on your charge card at the time that you pick up your car.
All vehicle rentals will require a deposit/reservation fee of $50.00 at the time the reservation is made.

A: An acceptable, valid driver’s license issued from your state or country of residence must be presented at the time of rental. The driver’s license must be valid for the entire rental period. The driver’s license must be in the original form, no copies, and be in the name of the main driver. The credit card must have the same name as the driver’s license.
A: Sorry, but no. The renter’s driver’s license must be valid for the entire rental period.
A: No, a valid driver’s license in your name is required to rent from Silver Rental.
A: Yes, additional drivers can be added at the office during the rental process. The added driver must be present with the main driver and have a valid driver’s license. There is an additional driver’s fee.
If the driver is between 21- 24 years of age, a young driver fee may apply.
A: No, all rental cars must be returned to the same place the rental was picked up at as per the rental contract. We are not affiliated with any other rental companies.
A: Yes, some examples of additional fees and/or charges are - Sales tax, Cleaning fees, Additional Mileage fee, Additional Drivers fee, Airport fee and Refueling fee. Most fees & charges that are known in advance of the rental are quoted as part of your total reservation rate – so you’ll have no surprises when you get to the rental counter.
Any charges that can’t be determined until after your rental, including mileage and fuel charges, will be extra and are not covered by the guarantee.

A: We highly recommend that you make a reservation in order to assure availability. Walk-ins are served on a first come, first served basis and are subject to unreserved availability.
A: Yes, in most cases we can accommodate you, but it is also subject to availability. To extend your rental beyond the due date shown on your contract, you must call us at the rental office. Please note that the rate is subject to change. No rental agreement can exceed 30 days.
A: Reservations are valid and honored for up to two hours after the requested pick-up time or until the location’s regular closing time, whichever is earlier. If the vehicle is not picked up within 2 hours of the requested pick-up time, your reservation status will be changed to a NO SHOW. To avoid any problems and or fees, please contact Silver Rental 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel your reservation or change your vehicle pick-up time.
A: To secure your rental we collect a $50.00 reservation fee. This fee will be deducted from the cost of your rental when you pick up the rental. This reservation fee is refundable only if you cancel and/or change your reservation within 24 hours of your reservation. Airport rental reservation fees are non-refundable.
A: Silver Rental vehicles are NOT permitted and/or allowed to enter Mexico under any circumstances. If you violate this part of the agreement, you forfeit your entire deposit. All our vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking devises to better manage our fleet.
A: Pets are not allowed in rental vehicle unless your pet is a certified service animal. (You may be subject to a cleaning fee if a service animal leaves pet hair in the rental vehicle).
A: Not currently. We are a small business and unable to provide this service regularly; however, we may on a case-by-case basis, make an exception, if we have the ability to do so at that given time.
